SE series rotary switches represent the most advanced rotary switches by Surdhi suitable for wide variety of applications. Switching versatility is available phase to phase, phase to neutral with off direct and CT operated to read voltage and Amperage for voltmeter ammeter selector switches respectively. For reliability in performance switches are manufactured with the latest concepts in switching technology and are designed on on load basis.
Surdhi SE Series rotary switches are a turn for the better because they eliminate all the unnecessary complexion in selection ordering and application.

Range

We currently have range upto 12 position with 30°,40°, 60° and 90° switching angles and current rating up to 63A. Surdhi SE series rotary switches have seven rating 6A, 10A, 16A, 25A, 32A, 40A,63A and 100A.

Construction

Surdhi Se series rotary switches are stacked with add on CAM and each CAM consists off contact block which are supported with the hexagonal center shaft. The Quality of the insulating material is of engineering standards to withstand electrical and mechanical stress and has got an very high Insulation resistance with good mechanical strength.
For switching inside the CAM high grade silver contact lips are used to pass Electrical/Mechanical endurance test. Also for better making breaking capacity of switching elements under normal abnormal conditions stainless steel spring with appropriate tensile strength are used. According to different contact sequence and current ratings different types of CAM are used.
For different purposes different kind of beautiful and elegant knobs Handle with sharp and clear pointers are used.

Mounting

Two types of mounting plates for flush back of panel mounting are available with different dimensions.

Indicating plate

Elegant and aesthetic indicating plates made of plastic are provided with attractive colour combination. Other combinations indicating plats are provided on request.

Application
Surdhi SE series rotary switches are suitable for

High Voltage

Each Surdhi SE series rotary switches are tested up to 2.5 KV for on minute between phase and earth and between terminals when the switch of off. The switches don't show flashover or breakdown.

Temperature

Surdhi SE CAM operated rotary switches are recommended for use upto 55°C ambient temperature and they will withstand hot falling sand up to 300°F.

Insulation Resistance

Each Surdhi SE series rotary switches show insulation resistance IR>500MΩ between conductor and insulator and between tow non conducting terminals.
